A Limerick About North Carolina Judicial Gerrymandering

Not sure whether this will become a Friday tradition, but I felt compelled to post a limerick today about HB 717.

I tweeted it this morning, but in limiting it to 140 non-formatted characters, I had to sacrifice a bit of punctuation and emphasis.

Here it is in full form:

The NCGA Rep. named Burr

Is acting as if to ensure

There's due process displayed

Before maps are remade;

The thing is ... they already were.

So ... I should probably stick to maps and analysis, yes? But sometimes, one just can't ignore the muse.
